Fire District #1, GARYVILLE & MT. AIRY, LOUISIANA

Located on the banks of the mighty Mississippi River in St. John the Baptist Parish, Fire District #1 serves the communities of Mt. Airy and Garyville, Louisiana, protecting approximately 2,500 citizens.  Within the district lies the businesses of Marathon Petroleum, Nalco Chemical, Stockhausen, and Petroleum Fuel Terminal.  Historic sites include San Francisco Plantation and the Timbermill Museum.

We train every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Monday of each month.  Our general membership meetings are usually on the 4th Tuesday of each month.  Check out our calendar for specific dates.


If you are interested in joining the fire department you can stop by on any Monday night training or the general membership meeting.
